Will America finally be on the right track when the top 2% convince the rest that poverty is now normal?

Living standards for the lower 98% of Americans have been falling like a rock for a generation as the massive transfer of wealth upwards continues, in spite of increases in productivity. With so little being said about it I would say this has already happened.
