My girlfriend was asked to make a fake obituary?

My girlfriend is really good at graphic designing and stuff like that. Her friend was registered in a 6 week course. Her friend now has 2 weeks left, and she does not want to finish the class, so she told the school that her FATHER passed away. She asked my girlfriend to make her a fake obituary of her father. My girlfriend doesn't know what to do...She doesn't feel comfortable making an obituary for someone who has not passed away. She thinks her friend is out of her mind. But she doesn't want her friend to fail a class...I personally feel like her friend should have dropped the class before the deadline..or even half way through...not when they're are only 2 weeks left in the course. I don't even feel comfortable with my girlfriend making it. How do some of you feel about this?
