Should i change my career plan? Really interested in TRAVELING?

I flew for the first time (im 17) about a month ago to the dominican republic, and ever since i have been obsessed with traveling and flying! i spend hours a day going to websites like expedia, cheapcaribbean, orbitz etc. and looking at vacation packages, i love reading people's reviews who have gone to such extravagent places like australia and spain but i know i will never be able to go because my parents think traveling is such a waste of money. i love thinking about flying and planes and traveling in general even though i know i probably won't be going on another vacation any time soon! haha! but up until this point ive been planning on a career in the medical field...and im not sure if that really what i want to do or if its just what everyone wants me to do. everyone always says how there will always be a demand in the medical field but now im not sure if thats really what i want to do...traveling is what really interests me, specifically international traveling and seeing things that we don't see in the US and experiencing other cultures! i have considered a pilot but i don't really think i'd want to be held responsible for so many people's lives and such, and i've heard airline stewdardess job isn't all that glamarous as it appears, so im not sure what to do...any help is appreciated! also, i've only ever gone on one major vacation (dominican republic) so i'm not exactly a world traveler, and im 17 year old girl btw
